AI

Bring your own AI.
We supply the rails.

BU doesn't ship its own model. Plug in whichever AI you trust — and the network provides the permissions, the citations, and the tenant boundaries the assistant has to work inside.

01

Bring your own model

BU doesn't ship an AI.

Connect the model you already trust — Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, a local model, or your own fine-tune. The platform supplies the permissions, the citations, and the tenant boundaries. You supply the brain.

02

Optional, never required

Three opt-in toggles.

Whether AI is on at all is a switch at three levels — the MLS or brokerage decides whether to enable it, the firm decides which of its members get it, and each agent decides whether it runs in their session. Off means off; the platform works the same.

03

Member-aware permissions

It only sees what the user already can.

The assistant runs queries through the same permission boundaries the user has. Agents can't pull data their license doesn't allow. MLS staff can't cross brokerage boundaries. The AI is a query interface, not a privilege bypass.

04

No training, no leakage

Your data stays your data.

Sessions run under zero-data-retention agreements with the model providers you connect. Queries don't train anyone's foundation model. Conversations are stored in your tenant only — exportable, deletable, audit-logged.

05

Cite, don't invent

Tool-using, not hallucinating.

Whichever model you plug in queries the platform's real APIs and surfaces what it found, with a link back to the underlying record. No invented listings, no made-up agents, no fabricated dates.
